ICAR-CRRI – Walk-in-Interview for Agricultural Field Operator (AFO)

ICAR – Central Rice Research Institute (CRRI), Cuttack invites eligible candidates for a walk-in-interview for the position of Agricultural Field Operator (AFO) on a purely temporary basis under the research project named “Evaluation of Falcon (GWN4055+GWN12056) against Rice Sheath Blight and Blast diseases” (EAP-484).

Essential Qualification

• Matriculation with +2 Vocational in an Agricultural related subject, OR
• Matric with two (02) years of working experience in agricultural related field work from a reputed organization.

Terms & Conditions

• The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the scheme/project. The service of the appointed candidate will stand terminated automatically after expiry of the scheme/project or on completion of the period indicated in the offer of engagement, whichever is earlier, and the candidate will have no right for absorption in ICAR-CRRI/ICAR.
• The age limit is relaxable for SC, ST and OBC candidates as per Government of India norms.
• Candidates should bring one recent passport-size photograph, original educational certificates from matriculation onwards (even if available on Digilocker) along with xerox copies, and experience certificate in the relevant subject, at the time of appearing in the walk-in-interview. The Biodata form may be downloaded from the institute website.
• Director, ICAR-CRRI reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of positions or to cancel the recruitment process. The decision of the Director shall be final and binding.
• In case of a large number of candidates, a screening test may be conducted to shortlist candidates for the interview.
• All eligible candidates will be considered equally; however, preference may be given to candidates with work experience in an ICAR institute.
• No TA and DA are admissible for appearing in the interview.
• Canvassing in any form will render the candidate liable to disqualification.
• Candidates currently employed or pursuing studies must furnish a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the respective employer/institution at the time of the interview.
• No candidate will be entertained strictly after the scheduled reporting time.
