Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog (HPRCA), Hamirpur invites online applications from eligible candidates for direct recruitment to 40 posts of Clerk (Job Trainee) (Post Code 26045) under the Department of Personnel (Secretariat Administration Services-I), Government of Himachal Pradesh, through the official website hprea.hp.gov.in.

Vacancy Details

Essential Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University.
• Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on Computer.

Desirable: Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)

• 18 to 45 years.
• Upper age limit relaxable up to 05 years for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates domiciled in Himachal Pradesh, employees of Himachal Pradesh Government and Ex-servicemen of Himachal Pradesh, as per orders of the Department of Personnel, Govt. of HP.
• Date for determining eligibility (qualifications/experience) shall be the closing date of ORA i.e. 11.09.2026.

Honorarium

Consolidated fixed amount of Rs. 12,500/- per month (Job Trainee basis) as per Job Trainee Scheme-2025 notified vide Notification No. PER(AP)-C-B(15)-3/2024 dated 19.07.2025 & subsequent letter dated 26.09.2025.

Selection Process

1. Computer Based Test (CBT) / Written Screening Test: 120 objective-type MCQs of 120 marks, duration 1½ hours. Subjects: General Knowledge (incl. HP GK & Current Affairs), Everyday Science, Logical Reasoning, Social Science, General English & General Hindi (Matric standard), Word Processing on Computer.
2. Typing Skill Test (Qualifying): Shortlisted candidates appear for typing test (30 WPM English / 25 WPM Hindi) which is qualifying in nature.
3. Document Verification of original certificates and self-attested photocopies.

Minimum Qualifying Marks: 45% for General; 40% for SC/ST/OBC/WFF candidates (relaxable up to 5% by the Aayog). In case of multiple shifts, scores normalized using Z-Score Method.

1. Register on the HPRCA portal (Sign Up) and complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) with personal/educational details and uploaded photo, signature and documents.
2. Click "Apply" for the desired post, select preferred exam district(s), review the auto-filled form.
3. Pay the fee (Rs. 800/-) online via Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking and submit. No offline application accepted.

Candidates must bring the downloaded copy of the application with original certificates and self-attested photocopies at the time of document verification. No TA/DA will be paid.
