HPRCA Assistant Staff Nurse (ASN) Recruitment 2026 (Advt. No. 12/2026)

Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog (HPRCA), Hamirpur invites online applications from desirous & eligible female candidates only for direct recruitment to 312 posts of Assistant Staff Nurse (ASN) (Post Code 26044), purely on engagement basis for 5 years, in the Department of Medical Education & Research, Government of Himachal Pradesh, through the official website hprea.hp.gov.in.

Vacancy Details

Essential Qualification

• B.Sc. Nursing with minimum 50% marks OR GNM (A Grade Nursing Diploma) with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University/Institution.
• Applicant should be a Female candidate only.
• Must be a Himachali Bonafide candidate.
• Must be registered with HPNRC, Shimla-06.

Note: Candidates should have passed Matriculation and 10+2 from a school/institution situated within Himachal Pradesh (not applicable to Bonafide Himachalis).

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)

• 21 to 45 years.
• Upper age limit relaxable up to 05 years for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates domiciled in Himachal Pradesh, employees of Himachal Pradesh Government and Ex-servicemen of Himachal Pradesh, as per orders of the Department of Personnel, Govt. of HP.
• Date for determining eligibility (qualifications/experience) shall be the closing date of ORA i.e. 29.08.2026.

Honorarium

Fixed monthly honorarium of Rs. 25,000/- purely on engagement basis for five (05) years, as per the policy notified by Govt. of HP (Department of Medical Education & Research) vide Notification No. HFW-B-A04/5/2025-Health-B-301504 dated 06.11.2025. The posts are temporary and ASN will not be a Govt. employee and shall have no right of regularization.

Selection Process

1. Computer Based Test (CBT) / Written Screening Test: 120 objective-type MCQs of 120 marks, duration 1½ hours. Subjects: subjects up to the level of essential qualification, General Knowledge (incl. HP GK & Current Affairs), Everyday Science, Logical Reasoning, Social Science, General English & General Hindi (Matric standard).
2. Document Verification of original certificates and self-attested photocopies.
3. Medical fitness verification and final merit list.

Minimum Qualifying Marks: 45% for General; 40% for SC/ST/OBC/WFF candidates (relaxable up to 5% by the Aayog). In case of multiple shifts, scores normalized using Z-Score Method.

1. Register on the HPRCA portal (Sign Up) and complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) with personal/educational details and uploaded photo, signature and documents.
2. Click "Apply" for the desired post, select preferred exam district(s), review the auto-filled form.
3. Pay the fee (Rs. 800/-) online via Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking and submit. No offline application accepted.

Candidates must bring the downloaded copy of the application with original certificates and self-attested photocopies at the time of document verification. No TA/DA will be paid.
