HMT Machine Tools Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of HMT Limited (a Government of India PSU), invites applications for engagement of Senior Advisers for a period of one year from serving/retired senior executives in the grade of General Manager or General Technical Managers for its Units across the country (Ref: MTL/MTMD/CNTR./2026, dated 28.09.2026).

Period of Engagement
- Initially for a period of one year, which can be further extended for a period of six months at a time or till completion of the assignment (whichever is earlier), depending upon the requirement and individual performance.

Qualification & Experience

Job Description (Operations)
- Day-to-day Operations/General Management of the allocated unit; formulating operational objectives aligned to organizational goals.
- Ensuring smooth running of operations including production, quality control, logistics and customer service.
- Analysing operational data/metrics; developing and managing operational budgets; maintaining relationships with suppliers/customers/stakeholders.
- Developing safety and quality control programmes; leading cross-functional teams for process improvements; assisting HMT top management for apex-level reviews.
- Creating new upgraded technical products; leading business verticals; planning/implementation/tracking of project portfolios; knowledge of tendering and erection & commissioning activities.
