- [A] Master’s degree with 55% marks in Economics/Applied Economics from an Indian University (or equivalent from an accredited foreign university), plus clearance of NET (UGC/CSIR) or SLET/GSET, or Ph.D. as per UGC (Minimum Standards) Regulations 2009/2016 (NET/SLET/GSET exempt for eligible Ph.D. holders).
- [B] Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked in the top 500 (QS/THE/ARWU).
