Exam Day Instructions
- Report at the exam centre at the reporting time printed on your call letter. Entry will not be allowed after the reporting time under any circumstances.
- Biometric verification will be carried out at the exam centre.
- Carry a printed copy of the call letter and a valid photo identity proof.
- The test is of MCQ-CBRT type. Each question has four options and 1/4 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. There is no penalty for unanswered questions.
- Read all the instructions printed on the call letter carefully before reaching the centre.
Scribe / Compensatory Time Facility
Candidates with benchmark disability, or with a temporary disability due to an accident, who are unable to write may apply for the scribe / compensatory time facility in the prescribed form. Applications must be sent between 16 October 2026 and 22 October 2026 by e-mail to [email protected] along with the disability certificate and the scribe’s documents (age, educational qualification and identity proof). The scribe’s educational qualification must be one step below the minimum qualification prescribed for the post.
Normalisation
As the test is held in more than one shift, marks will be normalised by the Equi-percentile Method, as per the notice published on 07 September 2026.
