GRID Controller of India Limited (GRID-INDIA), a Miniratna-I & Schedule A CPSE under Ministry of Power, invites applications for Executive Trainees in Electrical (37 posts) and Computer Science (15 posts) through GATE 2027.

Disciplines: Executive Trainee (Electrical) – 37 | Executive Trainee (Computer Science) – 15
Eligibility: BE/BTech/BSc(Engg)/IDD in relevant discipline with minimum 65% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University/Institute. Final year students expecting results by 14.08.2027 are also eligible.
GATE 2027: Candidates must appear in EE (Electrical Engineering) paper for ET(Electrical) or CS (Computer Science & IT) paper for ET(Computer Science). Only GATE 2027 score is valid.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 31.07.2027 (born on or after 01.08.1999). Relaxations: OBC-NCL 3 years, SC/ST 5 years, PwBD 10 years.
Pay Scale: ₹50,000 – ₹1,60,000/- (IDA) at E2 level. OJT for one year, then regularization at E2 level.
Selection: GATE 2027 marks (85%) + Group Discussion (3%) + Personal Interview (12%). Minimum qualifying marks in PI: 40% (UR/EWS), 30% (OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwBD).
Application Fee: ₹500/- (SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM/Departmental candidates exempted).
Service Bond: ₹5,00,000/- (Gen/OBC-NCL/EWS) | ₹2,50,000/- (SC/ST/PwBD) – to serve minimum 3 years after training.
Application Window: Opens after declaration of GATE 2027 results (by IIT Madras). Separate notification will be issued.
