GRID-INDIA Power System Simulation Internship 2026 - 15 Posts
Grid Controller of India Limited (GRID-INDIA) has launched Vidyut Pragya, a specialised internship programme in Power System Simulation Studies, for 15 interns. The internship is for six months, extendable by three months on mutual agreement, with a stipend of Rs. 50,000 per month. Interns will be posted at NLDC or one of the five Regional Load Despatch Centres and will work on load-flow, dynamic and electro-magnetic transient studies. Eligibility
- Only Indian nationals are eligible.
- Age must be at least 18 years and not more than 32 years on the closing date; upper-age relaxation as per Government directives.
- Full-time regular B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.)/IDD in Electrical/Electrical (Power)/Electrical and Electronics/Power Systems Engineering/Power Engineering (Electrical) with at least 65% marks or equivalent CGPA.
- SC/ST/PwBD candidates need only pass marks in the qualifying degree.
- The undergraduate degree must be completed on or before the closing date; candidates awaiting final results are not eligible.
- M.Tech/MSR/M.E. in Power Systems or a closely related specialisation is desirable; final-semester students and Ph.D. scholars may apply with a No Objection Certificate.
- Candidates who have not been previously employed will be given preference.
- Applicants must not have previously availed benefits under the PM Internship Scheme or undergone apprenticeship under NATS/NAPS or another government apprenticeship scheme.
- The candidate must be available for full-time, on-site engagement for the entire duration and make their own travel and accommodation arrangements.
