Gautam Buddha University (GBU), Greater Noida, has invited applications from Indian Nationals with a good academic record and teaching / research experience for faculty positions at the level of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in the areas of specialisation indicated against each position. • Send the duly filled application form along with self-attested copies of all certificates, mark sheets, evidence of teaching and research, NOC from the employer, Master's / M.Phil / Ph.D / NET certificates, reprints of published articles, date of birth certificate, caste certificate, etc., in an envelope superscribed with "Advertisement No. GBU/Admn./TS/2026-09 dated 14.10.2026, post applied for Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor and the Subject / Specialization concerned" to The Registrar, Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, Gautam Buddh Nagar - 201312 (Uttar Pradesh) India by Speed / Registered Post / Courier only.
• A scanned copy of the duly filled form must also be sent by e-mail to [email protected].
• Last date for receipt of the application is 13 November 2026 by 05:30 P.M. Applications received after the last date will not be entertained in any circumstances; the University will not be responsible for postal delay.
• Incomplete application forms without self-attested signatures and other documents will be summarily rejected.
• Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview through email only; no TA / DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Other Terms & Instructions

• The appointment will initially be made on a contract-cum-probation basis for a period of one year; the probation period can be extended by a maximum of one year. Services may be terminated during probation by giving one month's notice or one month's salary in lieu thereof by either the University or the appointee.
• Joining of successful candidates shall be subject to submission of a Medical Examination report from a Government Hospital / Medical Institute and Police report / verification.
• The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies, to draw panels for future appointments, and to conduct the interview through online / offline mode or both; it may fill or not fill any of the advertised positions.
• Relaxation in educational qualifications, experience and age for reserved category candidates will be permissible as per UGC rules. OBC reservation will be applicable as per Government of Uttar Pradesh directives (non-creamy layer); EWS reservation as per Government of India, DoPT OM No. 36039/1/2019-Estt.(Res.) dated 31 January 2019.
• The crucial date for determining eligibility based on qualifications / experience / publications shall be the last date of submission of application.
• Those already in Government / Autonomous / PSU service should submit a copy of forwarding of the application through proper channel; otherwise they will not be entitled to counting of past service / pay protection.
• An undertaking is required to be given that the publications submitted are free from plagiarism.
• Any corrigendum / addendum will be published only on the University website (www.gbu.ac.in); the jurisdiction for any dispute regarding the recruitment is Uttar Pradesh.
