FREMAA Deputy Finance Officer Recruitment 2026
The Flood and River Erosion Management Agency of Assam (FREMAA), an autonomous society of the Government of Assam and the implementing agency for externally aided projects of the Water Resources Department, Assam, has invited applications from eligible Indian citizens for the post of Deputy Finance Officer (One - 01) Post on contractual basis (E-No. 556717/679-681).

Salary / Remuneration
Rs 50,000/- to Rs 60,000/- per month (inclusive of local taxes) and will be fixed during negotiations. TA/DA and other allowances admissible as per FREMAA norms.
Age Limit
Maximum age limit is 50 years as on 01/01/2026.
Educational Qualification
A first-class full-time Master's degree in Commerce with specialization in Accountancy or Finance, or intermediate level of CA/ICWA or equivalent may also apply.
Experience
At least 07 years of experience in financial accounting or financial management in a Government organization / PSU / Autonomous Body, etc. Candidates who have worked in externally aided projects will be given preference.
Skills Required
- Knowledge and proficiency of Tally ERP 9.0 is mandatory
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is mandatory
- Knowledge of working in PFMS will be given preference
Selection Process
Selection would be through the process of interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be intimated and called for interview.
