FACT Engineer (IT) on Fixed Tenure Contract 2026 – Adv No. 7/2026 dated 01.10.2026
The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT, a Schedule-A multi-divisional Central PSE) invites applications from eligible candidates who have successfully completed Apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act from the FACT Training & Development Centre on or before 31.12.2025, for empanelment for engagement on Fixed Tenure Contract (Adhoc basis) to the post of Engineer (IT). Apprentices completing training in 2026 need not apply (sourced directly from the T&D Centre).
Eligibility
- Completed Apprenticeship in Degree B.Tech/BE in Computer Engineering / Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology from the FACT Training & Development Centre.
- Only candidates uploading both the Certificate of Proficiency (COP) and the FACT T&D Centre certificate will be considered for the panel.
- Age 18 to below 35 years as on 01.10.2026 (relaxation: SC/ST +5, OBC-NCL +3, PwBD +10 years). Reservation for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwBD as per Government directives.
Pay & Tenure
Consolidated pay Rs. 31,000 per month with 3% increase on successful completion of each year; leave, ESI, Provident Fund and TA/DA as per Company rules. Engagement for one year, renewable for up to 3 further spells of one year each.
Selection
Ranking after preliminary scrutiny by (i) earlier date of passing Apprenticeship Training and (ii) Apprenticeship Token Number. No TA/DA is payable. Pre-employment medical examination and police clearance are mandatory.
