Eligibility Criteria

• Only those candidates who are retired from Central / State Government under the Old Pension Scheme are eligible to apply.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 68 years as on date of reporting for interview.

Essential Qualification

• A Degree in Ayurveda from a recognized University or statutory State Board or Council or Faculty of Indian Medicine under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970)
• Enrolment on the Central Register of Indian Medicine or State Register of Indian Medicine

Emoluments & Allowances

• Admissible amount computed by deducting basic pension amount from their pay drawn at time of retirement
• Fixed amount as Transport Allowance as per rate applicable at time of retirement or Rs. 3,600/-, whichever is less
• No other allowances in any form shall be admissible

Terms of Contract

• Engagement purely on contractual basis, valid for one year, extendable up to attaining age of 70 years or till appointment of regular incumbent, whichever is earlier
• Contract may be terminated on either side giving seven days prior notice
• Eligible for 1.5 days leave per completed month (no accumulation beyond a calendar year)
• Attendance mandatory via AEBAS daily; no private practice permitted
• Engagement shall not confer any right/preference for regular engagement; subject to Medical Fitness

Selection Procedure

• Selection based on performance in the interview before the Selection Board
• Result communicated through e-mail and displayed on website
• Selected candidates to join within 15 days of offer

• Two copies of recent self-attested passport size photograph
• Self-attested copies & original certificates of age proof, educational qualification, experience
• Pension Payment Order and Pension Book with details of last pay drawn at retirement
• Police Verification Certificate at time of joining
• Certificates for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD reservation claims (if applicable)
