Dean, ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Ranchi, Jharkhand (on behalf of ESIC, Ministry of Labour & Employment) invites applications for Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor & Senior Resident posts on a contractual basis for one year (extendable yearly up to a maximum of 3 years on satisfactory performance) or till the joining of the regular incumbent.

Eligibility
- Qualifications: MBBS + Post-graduate (MD/MS/DNB/other) as per National Medical Commission (erstwhile MCI) guidelines dated 30.06.2025.
- Age (as on interview date): Professor/Associate/Assistant Professor — not exceeding 69 years; Senior Resident — not exceeding 45 years (50 years for Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Pathology, Forensic & Community Medicine); GOI age relaxation as applicable.
- Registration: Valid State/NMC medical registration.
Application Fee
Rs.500/- via Demand Draft in favour of ESIC Saving Fund A/c No.-2 payable at Namkum; NIL for SC/ST, Female, Defence Ex-servicemen & PH candidates. Non-refundable.
Terms of Contract
- Paid leave @2.5 days/month (earned leave, no encashment; no half/advance leave).
- Termination/resignation with one month notice; spot resignation requires one-month salary deposit; security deposit Rs.30,000/- (DD, ESIC Saving Fund A/c 2, Namkum) refundable after contract completion + no-dues.
- No PF/Pension/Gratuity/medical/TA-DA/regularisation claim.
Selection Process
Academic credentials + interview before the Selection Board (tentative 30-09-2026); result on esic.gov.in/recruitments; offer by email only.
