ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Bihta, Patna-801103 (Bihar) invites eligible candidates to appear in the Walk-in-Interview for the recruitment of Senior Residents and Super Specialist Senior Residents on contract basis for 01 (One) year with further renewal, as per Advertisement No. 11 of 2026.

Walk-in-Interview Schedule

Educational Qualification

• MD / MS / DNB in concerned speciality from a recognized university
• For TB & Chest: MD/DNB in Pulmonary Medicine, Chest Medicine & Respiratory Medicine also eligible
• Eligibility as per Teachers Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions Regulations, 2025
• Valid NMC / State Medical Council registration
• Candidates waiting for final result may apply but must produce passing certificate before interview
• Candidates appearing for Final Year PG Exam in September 2026 may apply; must produce certificate before offer of appointment

Vacancies & Reservation – Category-wise

*The sum of the category-wise rows per the notification is 41; seats may increase or decrease at the time of interview. Vacancy for Super Specialty Departments is dependent on availability of teaching faculties.

Age Limit

As per NMC, as on date of interview. Upper age limit relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC candidates.

Pay & Allowances

Fixed Basic Pay of Rs. 67,700/- and other allowances as admissible.

Application Fee

Fee to be paid through Demand Draft in favour of ESIC HOSPITAL BIHTA SB ACC-2, payable at Bihta, Patna, SBI Branch Code-01217. Fee once paid is not refundable.

Terms of Contract

• Purely contractual for 01 year from date of joining, renewable subject to performance
• No PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, Seniority or Promotion benefits
• Security Deposit of Rs. 20,000/- through DD in favour of ESI Fund Account No. 2, payable at SBI, Bihta, Patna at the time of joining
• Absence beyond 07 days treated as abandonment of duty; contract terminated and security deposit forfeited
• No private practice allowed after joining
• No TA/DA paid for attending interview

Selection Procedure

1. Selection based on credentials and performance in walk-in-interview before the Selection Board
2. Result displayed on www.mcpatna.esic.gov.in and www.esic.gov.in
3. Offer of Appointment sent through E-mail

How to Apply

1. Appear in person for the walk-in-interview on the scheduled date with the duly filled application form and required documents
2. Application should be submitted separately for each post in the prescribed format
3. Original documents must be produced for verification; incomplete applications will be rejected
4. NOC from current employer (if in Govt/Autonomous/Statutory institution) required at the time of interview
