Walk-in Interview: Contractual Specialists & Senior Residents 2026
The ESIC Hospital, Kala Amb (Distt. Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh) invites applications for walk-in interview for recruitment to the contractual posts of Specialists / Senior Residents against Advertisement No. 01/2026 (Ref: HP-143/ESICHkalaamb/InterviewFile/admn-2025).
1. Contractual Specialists (Full Time / Part Time) - 15 Posts
On contract for a period of one year extendable up to 03 years subject to approval and satisfactory performance. Preference to be given to full-time contractual specialists.

- Qualification: PG Degree or Diploma in concerned specialty from a recognized university with 3-years' experience after PG Degree or 05-years' experience post Diploma.
- Age: Not exceeding 67 years as on date of interview.
- Emoluments (no work no pay): Full-Time: Fixed Basic Pay Rs. 67,700/- (7th CPC Level 11) + Other Allowances. Part-Time: Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 60,000/- per month for 16 hours per week (4 hrs/day, 4 days/week); additional Rs. 15,000/- per month for emergency visits and Rs. 800/- per hour for duty beyond 16 hours per week.
- Selected specialists must hold a professional indemnity policy (min. sum assured Rs. 20 lakh for Surgeons/Gynaecologists/Obstetricians/ENT/Orthopaedic; Rs. 10 lakh for Physicians/Dentists/Radiologists/Pathologists/Chest).
2. Senior Residents (Central Residency Scheme) - 16 Posts
For 01 year extendable up to 03 years subject to approval and satisfactory performance.

Walk-in Interview Details
- Date & Time: 21st September 2026 at 11:00 A.M.
- Venue: Office of the Medical Superintendent, 2nd Floor, ESIC Hospital, Kala Amb (H.P.).
- Vacancies may increase or decrease depending upon actual requirement.
- Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS as per Central Government rules; PWD (PH) candidates adjusted against respective categories.
- Bring duly filled application form, original certificates with one set of self-attested photocopies (Age proof, MBBS, PG Degree/Diploma, MCI / State Medical Council / NMC registration, Experience, Caste, 2 passport size photographs, NOC if applicable, EWS Income & Asset Certificate as per DOPT letter No. 36039/1/2019-Estt.(Res.) dated 31.01.2019).
- No TA/DA admissible. Selected candidates shall pay a refundable security deposit of Rs. 50,000 via Demand Draft in favour of ESIC Fund Account No. 1 payable at Kala Amb.
- Engagement is purely contractual, no claim to PF/Pension/Gratuity/Medical Allowance/Seniority/Promotion and no right to absorption in ESIC. Private practice not permitted for Senior Residents and Full-Time Specialists.
- Waitlist remains valid for six months from the date of declaration of final result.
- Candidates who have already completed 03 years of Senior Residency need not apply under the Senior Residency Scheme.
