Engineering Projects (India) Ltd., a Mini Ratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Department of Heavy Industries, Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises, Govt. of India with turnover of more than Rs.1600 Crores engaged in execution of wide range of multi facet projects on turnkey basis in Power, Steel, Industrial, Civil & Infrastructure Sectors, intends to engage Graduate Apprentice in their Southern Regional Office Chennai / PCO Hyderabad or at any of its controlled sites under Apprentice Act 1961.

Educational Qualification

B.E. / B.Tech (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering) with not less than 55% marks from a reputed Institute / University approved by AICTE.

Age Limit (as on last date of application)

Training Duration & Stipend

• Duration: One year as per Apprentices Act 1961.
• Stipend: Rs. 10,000/- per month (Consolidated). No output bonus or other incentives, perks or allowances will be paid.

Eligibility Conditions

• Reservation of seats for Apprenticeship Training shall be as per Government directives and Apprenticeship Act 1961.
• Candidates should not have completed three years after passing out of the qualifying examination as on 30 June 2025. i.e., candidates having passed the Minimum Educational Qualification in the year 2023, 2024 or 2025 are only eligible to apply.
• Candidates awaiting result of minimum required qualification are NOT eligible to apply.
• Candidates who have undergone apprentice training in any organization are NOT eligible to apply.

Selection Process

There will be no interviews. The eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of merit list formed on the basis of marks secured in the Minimum Required Educational Qualification (B.E. / B.Tech).

2. Attach supporting documents: educational qualification certificates, proof of date of birth, etc.

Important Instructions

• Every Graduate Apprentice has to sign a contract of Apprenticeship before commencement of training.
• All terms and conditions of the Apprenticeship training will be governed by the contract.
• Weekly and daily working hours shall be as applicable to the establishment.
• No graduate apprentice shall be required or allowed to work overtime.
• No extension of training and employment will be given after completion of one year training by EPIL.
• Candidates will have to make their own arrangements of stay.
• The shortlisted candidates will be informed through email and uploaded on EPIL Website.
• Selected candidates will have to produce a certificate of medical fitness before joining.
• In case CGPA/OGPA/DGPA is mentioned, conversion to percentage will be done as per university norms. If no conversion formula is provided by the university, minimum 6 on 10-point scale will be considered as 60%.
• Percentage obtained in B.E./B.Tech as mentioned in consolidated mark sheet issued by University/Institute after considering marks of all semesters/years will be considered.
