Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Bhubaneswar invites online applications for engagement of 1599 Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the year 2026-27 at various Divisions and Workshops under East Coast Railway.

- Minimum: 15 years; Maximum: 24 years
- SC/ST: +5 years relaxation

- Ex-Servicemen: +10 years (to the extent of service rendered) + 3 years
Educational Qualification
- Academic: Matriculation (10th) under 10+2 system with minimum 50% aggregate marks from a recognized Board
- Technical: ITI certificate in the relevant trade, affiliated to NCVT/SCVT

Selection Process
- Shortlisting strictly on the basis of academic merit (marks in Matriculation + ITI) and preference of Unit-Department-Trade
- Document Verification (DV) at the Headquarters of East Coast Railway
- No written examination / no TA/DA
- Preference for candidates with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) for up to 20% of vacancies in Level-1 direct recruitment
