Eligibility Details
- 10th pass under 10+2 with minimum 50 percent aggregate plus ITI in NCVT or SCVT in the relevant trade, both passed as on 21-08-2026
- Lab Technician Pathology is the exception and needs 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 50 percent in both 10th and 12th
- Age 15-24 years as on 15-09-2026 with SC and ST plus 5, OBC plus 3 and PwBD plus 10 years relaxation with Ex-Servicemen rules; Aadhaar is mandatory

Selection Process
- Merit list per unit on matriculation percentage across all subjects with minimum 50 percent and no written test or viva
- Trade and community-wise document verification at HQ with medical fitness; ties broken by senior age and earlier 10th pass
- Only one division or workshop and one application per trade; monthly stipend at Railway Board rates with no employment guarantee and up to 20 percent preference for CCAA holders in Level-1 recruitment
