ECL Medical Dresser (Trainee) Internal Notification 2026 - 31 Posts (Departmental Candidates Only)
Eastern Coalfields Limited invites applications only from permanent departmental employees of ECL for selection as Medical Dresser (Trainee) for Area/Central Hospitals (Ref ECL/CMD/C-6/WBE-5/1388 dated 26-09-2026). Trainees undergo 1-year training in a Company Hospital and are regularized as Dresser (Medical) in T&S Grade-E on success, subject to vacancy. Not open to outsiders.

Eligibility (Cadre Scheme)
- Matric + 1-year training certificate from company / recognized / Govt hospital; 2 years service in coal industry.
- Same-grade or below-grade employees eligible (higher-grade employees not eligible; statutory/essential-category staff need not apply).
- Minimum GOOD ACR rating for 2023-24, 24-25 & 25-26; vigilance/departmental clearance must be Clear; regular & permanent employees only (except trainees).
- Merit via Trade Test by Medical Dept under CMS (I/C), Sanctoria Hospital; tie broken by appointment date then DOB.

- Apply in Annexure-1 format with self-attested qualification certificates, company ID and caste certificate, forwarded through proper channel (Unit HR verification + Area HR scrutiny in Annexure-2, emailed to wbe.ecl@coalindia.in with hard copy) to reach Wage Board Estbs, ECL HQ by 19/10/2026. Cut-off for eligibility is the notification issue date.
