Applications are invited from highly motivated and eligible candidates for two (02) Research Intern positions under the DTU-sponsored project titled "Early Glaucoma Detection using Deep Learning Techniques based on multimodal data of the Indian Population" sanctioned through CCDR / Koshika Foundation (Advertisement No. DTU/CCDR/KOSHIKA FOUNDATION/24/2024-25/54, dated 25/09/2026).

Position Details

Role Summary / Job Description

• Assist in requirement analysis, application development, testing, evaluation, documentation, dataset preparation, and research support activities under the supervision of the project investigator.

Preferred Skills

• Python, AI/ML, Deep Learning, Generative AI, web/app development, databases, software-hardware interaction, documentation, and interest in healthcare informatics and applied AI research.

Terms and Conditions

• Engagement is purely contractual and project-based, for 12 months or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier; continuation subject to satisfactory performance, availability of funds and approval of the competent authority.
• Selection through shortlisting based on eligibility and relevant experience, followed by interview by the Selection Committee.
• No HRA, TA, DA, medical benefits or any other allowance is admissible. No TA/DA for the interview.
• Candidates shall maintain strict confidentiality of Glaucoma/health-related project data and may be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
• This engagement does not confer any right or claim for regular or permanent employment at DTU.
• Currently employed candidates must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer at the time of joining.
• Shortlisted candidates will be informed of the interview by email only.
