Stipend Rs. 37,000 plus HRA (DRDO rules). Temporary, maximum 4 years (initial 2 years, extendable 2 more on screening); elevation to SRF after 2 years on satisfactory assessment. Age up to 28 years as on closing date (SC/ST +5, OBC +3). Valid GATE/NET essential for BE/BTech/MSc-only candidates; shortlisting on GATE/NET score (UG) or ME/MTech percentage (PG). Part-time PhD registrable with Director approval; ex-DRDO JRFs ineligible. No TA/DA.
