District Legal Services Authority (जिला विधिक सेवा प्राधिकरण), Ujjain invites applications from eligible and suitable persons for empanelment as Paralegal Volunteers (PLV) for the year 2026-27 under NALSA's Paralegal Volunteers Scheme, for the District HQ Ujjain and the Tehsil Legal Services Committees at Khachrod, Nagda, Mahidpur, Tarana and Badnagar.

Vacancies / Empanelment

Panel empanelment (maximum numbers) of Paralegal Volunteers for the following Tehsil Legal Services Committees:

• Ujjain (District Legal Services Authority)
• Khachrod
• Nagda
• Mahidpur
• Tarana
• Badnagar

Eligibility

• Age: 18 years or above (any age can apply).
• Good character, sound mental health, no physical defect that makes the applicant incapable of working.
• Should NOT be a registered legal practitioner.
• No criminal case registered against the applicant at any police station / police outpost (affidavit to be attached with the application).

Important Notes

• Work of a Paralegal Volunteer is purely voluntary legal service work - it is NOT a job or government service. No salary / wages / allowance is payable.
• Selection process is completely free - no application or selection fee.
• PLVs are associated with Legal Services Clinics, Police Stations etc. to help weaker, backward and victimised sections and missing children, and assist in implementing legal services schemes.

Selection Process

Applications are scrutinised and eligible candidates are invited for an interview before the Selection Committee. No TA/DA or food allowance is payable for attending the interview.
