Responsibilities: Design/operate hosting-agnostic environment (compute, network, TLS/DNS, dev/staging/prod separation); operate PostgreSQL 16 HA, Redis, Kafka fleet (capacity/tuning for ~20 services); platform availability, monitoring, alerting, capacity; backup/DR architecture & restore drills (RPO/RTO); infrastructure security (hardening, network policy, key custody/rotation); define production topology & scaling; partner with DevSecOps/AppSec.
Qualifications: Bachelor degree with 6+ years infrastructure/platform engineering with strong security focus; production microservice fleets preferred. Skills: Private/sovereign/government cloud (VMware/OpenStack/KVM) + Kubernetes; self-managed PostgreSQL/Redis/Kafka; IaC (Terraform/Ansible), backup/DR, observability (Prometheus/Grafana/ELK); key-management/secrets custody. Remuneration: Commensurate.
