DHFWS Ambala – Walk-in Recruitment for Medical Officer (FIARTC Centre)

In reference to the advertisement for filling the vacant post of Medical Officer for the FIARTC Centre under the Haryana AIDS Control Society, the Office of the Civil Surgeon / District Health & Family Welfare Society, Ambala, invites eligible candidates for recruitment to the below-mentioned post on a purely contractual basis. The appointment will be made on the basis of performance and the contract will initially be for a period up to 31.03.2027, which is likely to be extended further, subject to performance and administrative approval.

Vacancy Details

Consolidated Salary

Rs. 72,000/- per month (consolidated), on a purely contractual basis.

Essential Qualification

• MBBS with valid registration from the respective State Medical Council / NMC.
• 6 months work experience.
• Post Graduates from a Clinical Discipline will also be considered.
• Good working knowledge of computers.

Desirable Experience

• Work experience in an HIV/AIDS Programme in field settings.
• Candidates with MD (Medicine) / Diploma in Medicine will be preferred.

General Instructions

• Applicants should have passed Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matriculation.
• Age limit: 70 years.
• These posts are center specific and non-transferable.
• There will be no written test and no computer test for any post.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the recruitment process.
• Revised criteria of selection vide MD NHM letter No. NHM/Admin/HRC-1/2025/4306-26-905 dated 06.05.2025 will be applicable for all posts.
• NHM service Bye-Laws will not be applicable for these posts.
• Performance of the appointed candidate will be reviewed after every 5 years; if performance is found unsatisfactory at any stage, the contract may be terminated. The candidate shall have no right to claim regularization of the post.

• Educational qualification certificates (10th, 12th, Graduation, Post Graduation and others, if applicable) with all-year DMC
• Registration Certificate (if applicable)
• Experience certificate (with salary slip / salary proof — appointment letter will not be considered as experience)
• Residence proof as per selection criteria

The filled application form (attached to the notice and downloadable from the NHM Haryana website) must be submitted on the date of the recruitment drive.

Important Instructions

• Candidates are advised to visit the website http://nhmharyana.gov.in for any change in schedule or status of the application. Website information only — candidates should not visit the office in person or contact any person for the same.
• Any candidate found canvassing or influencing the selection process, or approaching the selection committee or any person related to it, shall be disqualified and the candidature rejected immediately without giving any reason; such a person may also be debarred.
• If it is found at any stage that information furnished by the candidate is false or incorrect, the candidature will be cancelled and legal proceedings initiated.
• If any candidate has been found guilty of a clerical mistake at the stage of selection, the candidature may be cancelled at a later stage of the recruitment process.
• Any candidate whose services have been terminated from any Government / semi-Government / Government-undertaking / body corporate on disciplinary grounds, or who has a criminal case / FIR pending, will not be eligible for these recruitments; candidature will be cancelled.
• If any documents required at the time of document verification are found absent, the candidature will be cancelled. All candidates must produce all documents in support of academic qualification and experience on the date fixed for document verification. Documents furnished after the document verification date will not be accepted.
• Candidates must ensure they fulfil all eligibility conditions; if found that an applicant does not fulfil any eligibility condition, or any information is found false or incorrect, candidature will be cancelled and selection terminated.
• If a candidate has passed education from a private / deemed university, they must submit the University's certificate showing the period of the concerned year of passing at the time of document verification.
• Posts can be increased, decreased or withdrawn by the District Authorities (Civil Surgeon, Ambala) without any further notice.
• Weightage of experience will be provided only to candidates who have experience in any Government body / Corporation / Board or a Government-undertaking; experience in the private sector will not be considered.
• The right for final recruitment is reserved with the Selection Committee, DH&FW Society, Ambala.
• No separate information will be given to candidates individually for any change in schedule, corrigendum, updates or eligibility list — candidates should visit the NHM website regularly.
