Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the positions of Consultant (Civil) and Technical Assistant (HVAC) at the Central University of Tamil Nadu on a temporary engagement basis.

Consultant (Civil) – essential qualification & experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University.
- 20 years of Engineering experience or more, retired at the level of Executive Engineer / equivalent cadre (Pay Level 10 or 11, VII CPC) or above, retired from Central / State Government / PSU / Government autonomous bodies.
- Initial engagement for six months, subject to further extension.
Consultant (Civil) – desirable
- Experience of civil works, designing, estimation and construction management of large projects.
- Experience of coordinating with multi-disciplinary planning consultants, architects and construction agencies.
- Proven track record of handling construction projects of relevant magnitude in reputed organisations.
- Preference to applicants with experience in a Higher Education University / Centrally Funded Technical University or reputed educational university.
Technical Assistant (HVAC) – essential qualification & experience
- Bachelor's Degree of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised Institute / University with one year relevant experience, OR
- Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with three years' experience in the relevant field (Central / State PWD or similar organised services / statutory or autonomous organisations / Central / State Universities / autonomous institutions or private organisation).
- Initial engagement for one year, subject to further extension based on performance.

- Applications in the prescribed proforma with self-attested copies of certificates must be sent by post / courier to the Joint Registrar, Recruitment Cell, Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur, Tamil Nadu – 610 005, on or before 10.10.2026.
