Central Sanskrit University (CSU), New Delhi, a Central University established by an Act of Parliament, has announced direct recruitment for Teaching and Other Academic Posts under Advertisement No. 04/2026 dated 10 June 2026.
Total Positions: 23 (Pay Level-13A)
Associate Professor vacancies across the following subjects and campuses:
Subject-wise Vacancies:
- Sahitya: 3 posts (Ekalavya-1, Vedvyas-1, Shri Raghunath Kirti-1)
- Vyakarana: 3 posts (Ekalavya-1, Vedvyas-1, Shri Raghunath Kirti-1)
- Jyotisha (Veda-Vedanga & Phalita/Siddhanta): 2 posts (Ekalavya-1, Vedvyas-1)
- Veda, Pourohitya & Karmakanda: 1 post (Ekalavya-1)
- Other subjects: 14 posts

Salary: Pay Level-13A: Rs.1,31,400 - Rs.2,17,100 per month
Essential Qualification:
(i) Ph.D. degree in the relevant/allied discipline;
(ii) Master's degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade);
(iii) Minimum of 8 years of teaching/research experience as Assistant Professor or equivalent;
(iv) Published research work as per UGC norms.
