CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR-NAL), Bengaluru has published a recruitment notification (Advt No. 11/2026) for the recruitment of 06 Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) posts.

Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: SSC/10th Standard pass from a recognized Board.
- Age Limit: 18 to 25 years as on the last date of receipt of hard copy of application.
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years; OBC(NCL) – 3 years; PwBD (UR) – 10 years; PwBD (SC/ST) – 15 years; PwBD (OBC-NCL) – 13 years; Ex-Servicemen – 3 years after deduction of military service; Widows/Divorced Women (not remarried) – up to 35 years; Widows/Divorced Women SC/ST (not remarried) – up to 40 years.
- Pay Scale: Pay Level-01 (Rs. 18,000 – Rs. 56,900/-) as per 7th CPC.
Selection Process
- Screening: Applications screened prima facie by a Screening-cum-Selection Committee on the basis of documents furnished.
- Written Examination: OMR Based Objective Type Multiple Choice examination conducted in Bengaluru only.
- Medium: English, Hindi & Kannada (except questions on English Language)
- Standard: Class X
- Total Questions: 150 | Total Time: 2 Hours
- Subjects: General Intelligence (25 Qs, 75 Marks), Quantitative Aptitude (25 Qs, 75 Marks), General Awareness (50 Qs, 150 Marks), English Language (50 Qs, 150 Marks)
- Marking: 3 marks for every correct answer; -1 mark for every wrong answer
- Merit List: Prepared on the basis of performance in the written examination, followed by document verification.

How to Apply (Offline)
- Fill in the prescribed application form completely and accurately.
- Pay the application fee of Rs. 500/- through Demand Draft (wherever applicable). Write your name and father's name on the back of the DD.
- Affix a recent passport-size colour photograph and sign in the designated place.
- Enclose self-attested copies of all relevant certificates, mark sheets, caste/category certificates, and other supporting documents.
- Superscribe the envelope as: 'Application for the Post of MTS, Advt. No. 11/2026'.
- Send the complete application by Speed Post/Courier only to: The Director, CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR-NAL), Post Bag No. 1779, HAL Airport Road, Kodihalli, Bengaluru – 560017, Karnataka.
- Ensure the application reaches the office on or before 21/09/2026 upto 5:00 PM.
Other Important Information
- The post carries All India Service Liability (AISL); selected candidates may be posted/transferred to any CSIR Laboratory/Institute/Centre anywhere in India.
- Selected candidates will be on probation for two years from the date of joining.
- Benefits include DA, HRA, TA, NPS, medical facilities/reimbursement, LTC, CEA, and other admissible allowances as per CSIR/GoI rules.
- Candidates currently working in CSIR/Government Organizations/Autonomous Bodies/PSUs must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) and Vigilance Clearance Certificate.
- OBC candidates in the Creamy Layer are not entitled to OBC concessions. EWS candidates must have family gross annual income below Rs. 8.00 Lakh.
