Central Silk Board (CSB), a statutory body under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, invites applications from eligible candidates for engagement as Young Professional (Grade-III) on a purely contractual basis at CSB Central Office, Bengaluru and its Institutes / Units across India (Advt. Place of posting: 04 posts at Central Office, CSB, Bengaluru and 01 post each at CSB-CSR&TI Mysuru (Karnataka), CSB-CSR&TI Berhampore (West Bengal), CSB-CTR&TI Ranchi (Jharkhand), CSB-CSTRI Bengaluru (Karnataka), CSB-CSR&TI Pampore (Jammu & Kashmir), CSB-CMER&TI Lahdoigarh (Assam), CSB-BTSSO Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh), CSB-MESSO Guwahati (Assam), CSB-NSSO Bengaluru (Karnataka) and CSB Regional Office, New Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria

• Chartered Accountant with 3+ years of experience in Government sector (OR) MBA / M.Com with 5+ years of experience in Government sector.
• Desired Experience: Government accounting of autonomous bodies, Tally Prime, procurement procedures in Government and scrutiny of ITA / DA bills, medical bills, pension, internal audit and experience in statutory compliances.
• Upper age limit: 35 years as on 01 July of the year of advertisement.

Selection Process

Selection will be done by the Screening Committee and the Selection Committee constituted with the approval of the Competent Authority, CSB. A waiting list of candidates, valid for one year, will also be empanelled apart from the finally selected candidates. TA/DA while on tour will be admissible as per Level-8 employees.

Contract Tenure and Remuneration

• Engagement is purely contractual for an initial period of two years, which may be extended based on performance evaluation.
• Remuneration is consolidated and inclusive of all applicable taxes; enhancement up to 5% to 10% based on performance, in no case exceeding 1.35 times of the initial remuneration.
• Working hours 9:30 am to 6:00 pm or as per prescribed office time of the concerned CSB Institute / Unit; biometric attendance; paid leave 1.5 days per completed month.
