Central Silk Board (CSB), a statutory body under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, invites applications for filling up Group A and Group B posts on a deputation basis, initially for a period of 3 (three) years, which may be extended further as per DoPT guidelines (Advt. Eligibility Criteria

• Joint Secretary (Technical): Officers of Central or State Government holding analogous posts on regular basis, or with five years of regular service in Level-11 or equivalent.
• Deputy Director (Admn. & Accts.) / (Statistics) / (Official Language) / (Finance): Officers of the Central Government or statutory / autonomous organisations functioning under the Central Government holding analogous posts, or with five years of regular service in Level-10 (Rs 56,100-1,77,500) or equivalent, along with the required educational qualifications (Bachelor's degree / Bachelor's degree in Statistics / Master's degree in Hindi or English or with Hindi-English at degree level with translation diploma / CA or Cost Accountant or Company Secretary or MBA or M.Com).
• Assistant Director (Admn. & Accts.) / (Statistics): Officers of the Central Government or statutory / autonomous organisations functioning under the Central Government holding analogous posts, or with three years of regular service in Level-7 (Rs 44,900-1,42,400) or equivalent, along with the required educational qualifications.
• Assistant Engineer: Officials of the Central or State Government or autonomous bodies holding analogous posts; II Class Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University; experience preferred.
• Maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.

Selection Process

Screening of applications by the Selection Committee; short-listed candidates may be called for Personal Discussion at Headquarters, Bengaluru as required. No TA/DA shall be paid for appearing for the discussion.

1. Willing and eligible officers may submit their applications in the prescribed form (annexed to the circular) along with a detailed CV through proper channel.
2. Forward the following with the application: cadre clearance, up-to-date APAR dossier (last 5 years), integrity certificate, vigilance clearance certificate, and a certificate indicating major / minor penalties, if any, during the last 10 years.
3. Send to the Member Secretary, Central Silk Board, CSB Complex, B.T.M. Layout, Madivala, Hosur Road, Bangalore - 560 068 preferably within 30 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News.
4. Applications received after the last date, incomplete, or not routed through proper channel will not be considered.
