The ICAR-Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute (ICAR-CIFRI), Barrackpore invites applications through online mode for engagement of Young Professional-I (Finance and Accounts) purely on a contractual basis to work at ICAR-CIFRI, Barrackpore.

Quick Overview

Essential Qualification

• B.Com / BBA / BBS (with minimum 60% marks) from a recognized University/College, with
• minimum one (01) year of experience in the relevant field.
• Knowledge of IT applications, virtual meeting platforms and computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Tally, etc.) will be an added advantage.

Age Limit

The minimum age under the Young Professional category is 21 years and maximum 45 years with relaxation as per rules.

Remuneration and Tenure

Remuneration is Rs. 30,000/- per month (Fixed). The engagement is for 01 (one) year only, extendable for two more years (01 year at a time) subject to requirement of the services of the YP in the organization and satisfactory performance. The maximum duration of engagement of a YP in ICAR is three years (1+1+1).

Written Skill Test

A written skill test for 20 marks (MCQ) on basic accounting and computer proficiency will be conducted at the time of the interview. 20 minutes time will be allotted for this test.

Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted for interview on the basis of their academic performances, experiences, etc. submitted with the duly filled application form. The list of shortlisted candidates and the date, time and venue of interview will be intimated through e-mail only. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

1. Interested and eligible candidates may apply through the duly filled application as per the attached proforma (Annexure-I).
2. The application should be accompanied by one set of self-attested relevant copies of mark sheets, certificates and age proof documents as required in the advertisement.
3. Send scanned copies of the application, addressed to The Director, ICAR-CIFRI, Barrackpore, attached with a detailed bio-data, a recent passport size photograph and self-attested mark sheets/certificates, to interviewcifri@gmail.com within 21 (twenty one) days from the date of publication of the Vacancy Notice in the newspaper.
4. Candidates must attach Provisional Certificate / final year mark sheets in respect of Graduation and Post Graduation; applications without the same will be summarily rejected.
5. Only Indian citizens are eligible for applying for engagement.

• All applications received after the mentioned time limit will be summarily rejected.
• Candidates who are already working in similar positions should produce a No Objection Certificate obtained from their employer/supervisor at the time of interview.
• Shortlisted/selected candidates will be required to produce all original documents at the time of interview/joining.
• The selected candidate will have no right/claim for regular appointment.
