CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysuru, a constituent National Laboratory of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), invites online applications for the engagement of Project Associate-II (PAT-II) purely on temporary contractual basis for the project "Impact of a cost-effective, nutritionally optimized supplement on body composition and functional measures: A multicentric randomized-control trial among older adults at risk of malnutrition/or malnourished (I-CARE Study)" (Project No. GAP 657, Advt No. PAT 50/2026 dated 31.07.2026).

Vacancy Details

Essential Qualification

• M.Sc. in Food Science and Technology/Nutrition or equivalent from a recognized university AND 2 years' experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or S&T Organisations.
• Desirable: experience in product development and laboratory analysis techniques.

Engagement Details

Engagement initially for a period till February 2027, extendable up to February 2028 based on requirements or till end of project, at CSIR-CFTRI, Mysuru. Age should not exceed 35 years as on 16.08.2026. Age relaxation: SC/ST/PwBD/Women 5 years; OBC 3 years.
