CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysuru, a constituent National Laboratory of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), invites online applications for the engagement of Project Associate-I (PAT-I) purely on temporary contractual basis for the project "Pilot-scale Demonstration of Ozone-based Decontamination of Microbial Load, Aflatoxin, Ethion, and Chlorpyrifos in Chilli and Development of their Detection Systems" (Project No. FTT020603, Advt No. PAT 51/2026 dated 31.07.2026).

Essential Qualification
- FTT020603-01 (2 posts): M.Sc. in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry or equivalent from a recognized university.
- FTT020603-02 (1 post): M.Sc. in Chemistry or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Desirable: experience in research work related to food safety, microbial toxin analysis, microbial culturing techniques.
Engagement Details
Engagement initially up to January 2027, extendable up to March 2028 or till end of project. Age should not exceed 35 years as on 16.08.2026. Age relaxation: SC/ST/PwBD/Women 5 years; OBC 3 years.
