Central University of Jammu Recruitment 2026: Junior Research Fellow Vacancy

The Central University of Jammu has invited applications from eligible candidates for the engagement of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under an ANRF-funded research project at the School of Business Studies.

The position is purely temporary and will initially be offered for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements.

Project Title

“Nudging to Address Over-the-Counter Drug Abuse: Promoting Responsible Use through Pharmacy Platforms in India”

The project is funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), formerly SERB.

Essential Qualifications

Applicants must possess:

• A postgraduate degree in Management, Economics or an allied discipline.

• NET qualification as prescribed under ANRF/SERB norms.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with research experience in:

• Behavioural experiments

• Digital health

• Consumer behaviour research

• Research projects in related areas

Remuneration

The selected candidate will receive:

INR 37,000 per month plus HRA

The remuneration will be governed by the applicable ANRF guidelines.

Duration of Appointment

The appointment will initially be for one year, which may be extended based on the candidate’s performance, project requirements and the sanctioned duration of the project.

The engagement is purely temporary and will automatically end upon completion or termination of the project.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be informed through email and invited for an interview, which may be conducted online or offline.

No TA or DA will be provided for attending the interview.
