Overview
Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal invites applications for filling up the posts of Comptroller and Deputy Comptroller (one post each) on deputation basis for a term of three years (extendable up to five years) (Advt No. CAU/Reg/2991/Advt/26/2€SY(A), dated 31/08/2026).

Qualifications
1. Comptroller
- Essential: Chartered Accountant OR (i) At least second class graduate/post-graduate AND (ii) Must have passed SAS examination conducted by C&AG of India / State Finance Dept / ICAR
- Experience: 12 years proven experience in supervisory capacity in financial management/administration, out of which 5 years as Accounts Officer/Deputy Registrar or equivalent in Government office/institution, preferably a University
2. Deputy Comptroller
- Essential: (i) Master Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA AND (ii) Nine years experience as Assistant Professor in Academic Level 10+ with 3 years in educational administration OR Comparable experience in research establishment/higher education OR 5 years administrative experience as Assistant Comptroller or equivalent
- Desirable: Experience in Finance/Accounts; MBA (Finance)/Commerce or CA/ICWA qualification
Age Limit
- Comptroller: Preferably less than 57 years
- Deputy Comptroller: Less than 50 years
Terms & Benefits
- Deputation basis for 3 years (extendable up to 5 years)
- Governed by Central Govt. deputation rules
- Entitled to DA, HRA, and other allowances as admissible to Central Govt. employees in NE Region
- Special Duty Allowance (SDA) for all India transfer liability
