BHU Senior Research Fellow (SRF) – Molecular & Human Genetics, DBT Parkinson's Project (1 Post)
Department of Molecular and Human Genetics, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi invites applications for one post of Senior Research Fellow with a fellowship of Rs. 42,000 + HRA (18%) per month in a DBT (New Delhi) sanctioned project "Systemic exploration of exosomal heterogeneity in PD stress conditions and developing strategy to modulate/inhibit dopaminergic neuronal cell death and neuroinflammation". The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project (max. 3 years).

| Essential | First-class post-graduate degree in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Molecular & Human Genetics/Zoology/Animal Science/Life Sciences with qualified NET/GATE or equivalent. |
| Experience | Minimum 2 years of experience in Parkinson's Disease, neuro-biology, neuronal cell culture, molecular biology and cell biology. |
| Desirable | Hands-on experience in maintenance and differentiation of primary cell cultures and iPSCs; expertise in fundamental techniques and functional assays of neurobiology, Parkinson's Disease, cell culture and molecular biology. |
Age Limit
Upper age limit 32 years (3 years relaxation for OBC; 5 years for SC/ST, physically handicapped and female candidates).
