Department of Zoology, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi invites applications for the post of Project Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (01) with emoluments of Rs. 37,000/month + 18% HRA in a DBT-sponsored project (BT/PR65568/BMS2/156/467/2025) "Investigating the role of non-coding RNA CDIR-4 in immune evasion strategies in head and neck squamous cell carcinomas".

| Essential | M.Sc. in Zoology/Life Sciences/Biochemistry/Biotechnology or related area with at least 55% marks, and qualified NET/GATE. |
| Desirable | Basic knowledge of cell culture, animal experiments, and molecular biology techniques (RT-qPCR, ChIP-qPCR); experience in non-coding RNA and epigenetics will be given preference. |
Age Limit
Upper age limit 28 years (5 years relaxation for female/SC/ST, 3 years for OBC/Physically Handicapped). SC/ST candidates preferred, all things being equal.
