Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Tiruchirappalli has released the recruitment notification (No. TP: HR: R: TA 2026-27) for engagement of 60 Technician Apprentices in various engineering disciplines under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act, 1973 for the training year 2026-27.

Eligibility Criteria

| Educational Qualification | High School Pass + Diploma in the relevant Engineering discipline from a Govt. Recognized Institute as a Regular Full-Time candidate. Diploma pass outs of 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026 only. |

| Previous Training | Candidates who have already undergone/are undergoing apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act, 1973 are NOT eligible. Work experience of 1+ year also disqualifies. |
Reservation
SC – 19%, ST – 1%, OBC(NCL) – 27%, EWS – 10%, PwD – 4% of the advertised posts. Additionally, reservation for dependents of regular BHEL employees (serving/retired/deceased) as per company rules.
Stipend
₹10,900 per month (consolidated) for the entire training period of 1 year.

Selection Process
Selection shall be merit-based on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying Diploma examination. In case of a tie, the older candidate is preferred. Candidates who passed from Govt. Recognized Institutions in Tamil Nadu will be considered first. No TA/DA will be paid for document verification or joining.
