Job Profile
- Promote and implement Company's Rajbhasha policies
- Translation of official documents, rules, forms, reports, and technical matter from English to Hindi and Hindi to English
- Assist various departments in noting, drafting, and routine correspondence in Hindi
- Prepare house journals, periodicals, and brochures in Hindi and English
- Ensure implementation of Government directives regarding rules and regulations in Hindi
- Ensure official documents, signboards, and public notices are issued bilingually (or fully in Hindi as per region)
- Ensure compliance of Official Language Act and Rules in all departments and units of the Company
- Motivate employees to use Hindi in official work; organize Hindi workshops, training sessions, and Hindi Pakhwada
- Scrutinize and edit translated material, quarterly reports, and website content in Hindi Section
- Assist in matters related to implementation of Official Language as required by Competent Authority
- Create awareness among employees about provisions of Official Language Act and related Government rules
- Implementation of Official Language Rules and Regulations
- Any other work related to Hindi Section as assigned
- Maintain strict punctuality and discipline
Qualification & Experience
Essential Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Hindi or Hindi Translation with English as a subject at Bachelor's level
Computer Proficiency: Proficiency in both Hindi and English on computer; typing skills mandatory. Typing speed 40-60 wpm. Strict adherence to typing speed limits and discipline in maintaining them.
Experience: Three years work experience after acquiring PG qualification in translation (Hindi to English and English to Hindi) or implementation of Rajbhasha policies in any Government Department, Public Sector Undertaking (PSU), or Financial Institution. Excellent proficiency in bilingual typing (MS Word/Excel) and good knowledge of AI-based translation tools or terminology management desirable.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 32 years (Relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit for SC/ST/PWD candidates and for others as per Govt. directives). Relaxation may be given for deserving candidates in exceptional cases.
