Qualifications
- Mandatory: Diploma in Industrial Safety through Regional Labour Institute / Central Labour Institute or institute recognised by Department of Factories and Boilers, with First Class Degree in Engineering.
- Experience (PQE): Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in a position of supervision or management in a factory (production/maintenance/safety department) in an organisation of repute, with application-level knowledge of legislation & procedures and sound knowledge of hazardous materials & practices.
- Desirable: Experience as Safety Officer in a manufacturing industry/large organisation; strong report writing skills.
Job Description
Development of Occupational Health & Safety regulations and ensuring compliance; organizing OHS training for executives and non-executives; reviewing policies and updating per latest legislation; conducting audits, inspections, risk assessment and enforcing preventive measures.
