Research and Development Intern

Role Description

We are seeking a motivated and curious Research Intern to join our team. You will assist in gathering and analysing data, performing literature reviews, supporting research projects, and translating findings into usable insights. This is a learning-rich role, providing exposure to real research workflows, tools, and collaboration with experienced professionals.

• Conduct literature reviews on assigned topics relevant to the company’s domain (e.g., AI/ML, industry trends, market research)
• Collect, clean, and analyse quantitative and/or qualitative data under supervision
• Assist in designing research methodologies (surveys, experiments, observational studies etc.)
• Prepare reports, summaries, slide decks or dashboards to communicate research findings to stakeholders
• Assist with data visualization tasks (charts, graphs, infographics)
• Support ongoing projects with research-related tasks (e.g., competitor analysis, benchmarking)
• Participate in team meetings; contribute ideas and insights
• Maintain documentation of research processes and ensure reproducibility

Duration: 3–6 Months

Mode: Remote / Hybrid

Stipend: non-paid roles

Required

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s / Master’s program in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Social Sciences, etc.)
• Good grounding in research methods (qualitative/quantitative)
• Basic proficiency with data tools (Excel, Google Sheets; any exposure to R / Python / SPSS is a plus)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented, with good organisation & ability to work independently as well as in a team
