Scale of Pay
Rs. 25,000/- to Rs. 52,000/- + Grade Pay of Rs. 12,100/- + other allowances as admissible to Assam State Government employees (per month).
Eligibility Criteria
- Citizenship: Indian Citizen (Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution) and a permanent resident of Assam. Domicile proof: Permanent Resident Certificate for educational purpose / Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.
- Educational Qualification: Full-time Diploma in Engineering from a Govt/Govt recognized/AICTE-approved Polytechnic (min. 3 years after HSLC, or 2+2 years), with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST).
- Discipline-wise Diploma:
- Electrical: Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Mechanical: Mechanical Engineering
- Information Technology: Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology / Computer Technology
- Instrumentation: Instrumentation Engineering
- Civil: Civil Engineering

Selection Process
