Pay Scale
Rs. 37,300/- to Rs. 1,12,000/- per month + Grade Pay Rs. 14,200/- + other allowances as admissible to Assam State Government employees.
Educational Qualification
- Electrical / Mechanical / Civil: Full time B.E/B.Tech in the relevant branch from an AICTE approved University/Institution (min. 4 years after HSLC or 3 years after Diploma). Minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST).
- Information Technology: Full time B.E/B.Tech in IT/Computer Science or equivalent from an AICTE approved institution. Minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST).
- Instrumentation: Full time B.E/B.Tech in Instrumentation/Electronics or equivalent. Minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST).
- Human Resource: 2 years full-time MBA/PGDM with specialization in HRM/Personnel Management/Industrial Relations from an AICTE/UGC approved University/Institution. Minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST).
Eligibility Criteria
- Citizenship & Domicile: Indian citizen and permanent resident of Assam. Upload a valid Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) issued in Assam for educational purpose / Employment Exchange Registration Certificate as proof of residency.
- Age: Not less than 21 years and not more than 38 years as on 01.01.2026.
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST +5 years (up to 43), OBC/MOBC +3 years (up to 41), PwBD +10 years, Ex-servicemen up to 50 years (with further relaxation for OBC/SC/ST).
- Small Family Norms: Candidates must submit the "Small Family Norms" declaration in Form-A.

How to Apply
- Apply online only through the APSC recruitment website apscrecruitment.in. No other mode will be accepted.
- Register on the APSC Online Recruitment Portal (OTR) if not already registered, and update certificates (age, caste, qualification) in the OTR profile.
- Fill the form carefully and pay the prescribed fee online (or through nearest Common Service Centre).
- Take a print-out of the submitted application for future reference.
Selection Process
- Direct recruitment; the selection procedure will be notified later followed by a corrigendum/addendum, if required.
- The Commission may conduct the examination/test zone-wise depending on the number of candidates.
- Eligible candidates will be required to attend a personal interview/viva-voce. Candidates must produce original documents at the time of interview.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
