Educational qualification
English Reporters: Bachelor's Degree of any University in India (Central/Provincial/State Act or UGC-recognized) + Shorthand (English) at not less than 150 words per minute + Typewriting (English) by higher grade of the State Board of Technical Education, Hyderabad/Vijayawada. Telugu Reporters: Bachelor's Degree + Shorthand and Typewriting (Telugu) both by Higher Grade (a practical test of 80 wpm in Telugu Shorthand is also prescribed).
Selection / examination scheme
Selection is by a single-level written examination conducted online in Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) mode by the Commission. The detailed scheme and syllabus are annexed to the notification; hall tickets will be hosted on the Commission's website.
