The American University of Bahrain (AUBH) invites applications from qualified and motivated professionals to join its College of Engineering and Computing for the 2025–2026 academic year. We are seeking dedicated faculty members and lab demonstrators who are passionate about teaching, research, and academic excellence in a globally oriented learning environment.

Available Positions

1. Faculty of Cybersecurity

Employment Type: Full-time | On-site

College: Engineering and Computing

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Cybersecurity
• Develop course materials aligned with international academic standards
• Conduct research and publish in reputable journals
• Supervise student projects and internships
• Participate in curriculum development, accreditation, and academic committees

2. Faculty in Software Engineering

Employment Type: Full-time | On-site

College: Engineering and Computing

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach core and advanced Software Engineering courses
• Engage in applied and interdisciplinary research
• Mentor students and supervise capstone projects
• Contribute to program development and continuous quality improvement
• Participate in academic service and institutional activities

3. Lab Demonstrator – Cybersecurity

Employment Type: Full-time | On-site

Key Responsibilities:

• Support practical laboratory sessions in Cybersecurity
• Assist faculty during labs and tutorials
• Maintain lab equipment, software, and security tools
• Guide students in hands-on experiments and projects
• Ensure laboratory safety and operational standards

4. Lab Demonstrator – Civil Engineering

Employment Type: Full-time | On-site

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in Civil Engineering laboratory sessions
• Prepare and manage lab materials and experiments
• Support students during practical coursework
• Maintain laboratory instruments and safety protocols
• Coordinate with faculty for effective lab delivery

Candidate Requirements

• Relevant Master’s or PhD degree (as applicable to the position)
• Strong academic background and subject expertise
• Teaching and/or laboratory experience in higher education preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to student-centered learning and academic integrity
