AIIMS Bhopal, Department of General Medicine invites applications for one Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) post in an ICMR-funded project on multi-omics profiling and population pharmacokinetics for predicting drug interactions and adverse drug reactions in anti-tubercular (ATT) and anti-retroviral (ART) therapy (Advt. Eligibility

• Postgraduate degree, including an integrated PG degree, in Pharmacy, Pharm D, Life Sciences, Biotechnology or Biochemistry.
• Desirable: prior experience in pharmacogenomics, pharmacokinetics and molecular biology experiments; knowledge of adverse drug reaction (ADR) reporting and analysis; good communication and leadership skills; computer skills in GraphPad Prism, Excel, SPSS and R; prior experience in tuberculosis/HIV research; publications in a relevant area.

Job profile

Isolation of genomic DNA, RNA and proteins from biological samples; isolation of serum and plasma; manuscript writing and publications; day-to-day mentoring of project staff and students; timely preparation of progress and financial reports; and other duties assigned by the PI/Co-I.
