AIIMS Bhopal, Department of General Medicine invites eligible candidates for two Project Technical Assistant posts (Project Technical Support-III as per ICMR nomenclature) in the DHR-funded multicentric project “Economic Evaluation of Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) and Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) interventions in Indian Healthcare Facilities – Multicentric Study” (Advt. No. AIIMS/BPL/MED/SK/AMS/2026/01 dated 26.10.2026). Principal Investigator: Dr Sagar Khadanga.

Eligibility
- Three-year graduate degree in a relevant subject/field with three years’ post-qualification experience; or a postgraduate degree in a relevant subject/field.
- Desirable: good understanding of the healthcare delivery system; research/field work experience in public health projects; working knowledge of MS Word and Excel; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC, retrenched Government employees, departmental candidates and ex-servicemen as per Government of India/ICMR rules; up to 5 years’ relaxation may be granted by the Head of Institution on a case-to-case basis to deserving candidates with Government research experience.
Selection
Documents will be screened on the spot. A written test will be held if more than 30 eligible candidates report. The test has 50 MCQs on the healthcare delivery system in India, infection prevention and control, basics of antimicrobial use and stewardship, data collection and record keeping, MS Word/Excel and general aptitude. Qualifying marks: 40% for UR/OBC/EWS and 35% for SC/ST. If a written test is held, a maximum of 10 candidates (five per post) will be shortlisted for interview; final selection is based on the combined written test and interview score, or on the interview alone if no written test is held. A wait list may be prepared. Tie-breaker: earlier date of birth.

Walk in on 10 November 2026 at 9:30 AM with the duly filled application form (attached to the advertisement), CV, recent photograph, original certificates and one set of self-attested copies. No application is to be sent in advance. Fee: Nil. No TA/DA. Candidates already in government service/funded projects must bring a No Objection Certificate.
