Age Limit & Relaxation
- The cutoff date for determining the upper age limit and for all other qualifications and experience is the last date of submission of the online application form, i.e. 20 October 2026. The candidate must possess the essential qualification and experience on that date.
- Relaxation in the upper age limit is 5 years for SC candidates (this post is reserved for the SC category).

The fee must be paid through online mode provided in the online application form. The fee once remitted will not be refunded under any circumstances or adjusted elsewhere. Applications without the prescribed fee will not be considered and will be summarily rejected.
Documents to be Brought on the Day of Interview
The candidate must be present in person with all original certificates, along with one set of self-attested photocopies already attached to the online application form:

- Residence proof
- Age proof (date of birth)
- Qualification proof, as per the essential criteria
- No Objection Certificate from the employer, if the candidate is in service in any Government institution
- Age relaxation document, if applicable
- Experience certificate
- Caste certificate in central Government format
- Any other relevant document in support of the candidature
There is no need to send the hard copy by post. Self-attested copies of the above documents are required to be attached with the online filled application form. All original certificates/documents will be verified before the Walk-in Interview. The online application form must be filled in completely, otherwise it may be rejected without any enquiry or representation. The period of experience prescribed shall be counted only after obtaining the prescribed qualification.
Interviews may also be extended to the next day if the number of applicants is more. Candidates must ensure they fulfil the eligibility criteria; if any incorrect information is furnished, or any shortcoming is detected even after appointment, the candidature will be cancelled or services summarily terminated. How to Apply
Candidates satisfying the eligibility criteria must fill the online application form through the portal https://aiimsbathindant.samarth.edu.in/ by 20 October 2026, and then bring the downloaded copy of the completed online application form together with certificates of age, qualification, experience and caste, completed in all respects, on 20 October 2026. Document verification will be carried out on the same day, followed by the interview of eligible candidates.
Tenure: purely on contract, initially for a period of 179 days, extendable up to a maximum of two years. The appointment carries no right to claim regular/permanent absorption or continued contractual appointment. The appointee may leave by giving one month’s notice or by paying salary in lieu thereof.
Selection procedure: selection will be based on the interview. If the number of candidates is large, a written examination may be conducted for shortlisting for the interview, or any other method found suitable by the competent authority. Possession of the prescribed qualification is a minimum requirement only and does not entitle any candidate to selection.
No TA/DA or accommodation will be provided for attending the interview. The interview may also be extended to the next day if the number of applicants is more; candidates are advised to plan their journey accordingly.
Remuneration and benefits: the consolidated remuneration shown against the post will be paid to the contractual appointee after statutory deductions. The appointee will not be entitled to any allowance or facility extended to regular/permanent staff, including Government accommodation, Provident Fund, NPS subscription, Gratuity, medical attendance/treatment, seniority or promotion. The appointee shall be a whole-time employee and shall not accept any other assignment or engage in private practice. Appointment is subject to medical fitness from the competent Medical Board.
General conditions: canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification. The candidate must not have been convicted by any court of law and will be required to take an Oath of Allegiance to the Constitution of India. The candidate may have to work in shifts and may be posted at any place or department of the Institute. The competent authority reserves the right to change the number of vacancies, withdraw the process in full or in part, and reject any or all applications without assigning reasons. All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts at Bathinda only. The post is provisional and the number of posts may vary at the discretion of the competent authority.
