Educational Qualification
- Senior Scientist and Head: Doctoral degree in relevant field (Agriculture/Animal Science/Fisheries/Community Science/Horticulture/Sericulture) with 8 years of relevant experience.
- Subject Matter Specialist (T6): Master's degree in Agriculture / Animal Science / Fisheries Science from a recognized University (disciplines: Agronomy, Agril Economics, Animal Science, Fishery Science, Plant Protection, Soil Science).
- Farm Manager (T4): Bachelor's degree in Agriculture/Animal Science/Fishery Science/Horticulture/Sericulture.
- Programme Assistant (Lab. Technician): Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
- Programme Assistant (Computer): Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Computer Application/IT or equivalent.
- Assistant: Bachelor's degree in any subject with 5 years of work experience in Accounts and establishment.
- Stenographer Grade-III: Bachelor's degree with working knowledge of computer (min. 6 months Diploma in Computer Application). Must pass dictation test at 80 w.p.m. for 10 minutes and transcribe in 50 minutes on computer.
- Driver (T1): HSLC pass or equivalent with driving license for heavy and light vehicles and 2 years of driving experience.
- Supporting Staff Grade-I: As per norms (details in advertisement).
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)
- Senior Scientist and Head: Maximum 47 years.
- Subject Matter Specialist / Programme Assistant (Lab & Computer) / Farm Manager: Maximum 38 years.
- Assistant / Stenographer Grade-III / Driver / Supporting Staff: Maximum 40 years.
- No upper age limit for in-service candidates of AAU. Age relaxation for reserved categories as per Govt. of Assam norms.
Application Fee
Non-refundable fee (online mode only): Rs.1,000/- for General/OBC candidates and Rs.500/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
How to Apply
- Submit the application online in the prescribed format at online.aau.ac.in/kvk-recruitment-2-2026/.
- Applications are available on the AAU website w.e.f. 27.07.2026.
- Pay the application fee online along with the application.
- Applications must be submitted on or before 26.08.2026.
- Candidates who are permanent residents of Assam should only apply for all categories of posts (except the Senior Scientist and Head post).
- In-service candidates must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their parent Department/Organization.
