How to Check the RRB Group D Result & Download Scorecard
The Group D result is published on the official website of the RRB (or RRC) under which you applied. Follow these steps:
- Open the official website of your RRB/RRC (for example, RRB Mumbai at rrbmumbai.gov.in). The correct board name is printed on your e-admit card and in your registration confirmation email.
- Go to the Results section and click the link titled “CEN 08/2025 – Group D – CBT Result” or “Group D CBT Scorecard”.
- If a roll-number PDF list is displayed, open it and search for your roll number; if a candidate login is offered, enter your registration number / roll number and date of birth / password.
- View your qualifying status and normalised marks. Download the scorecard PDF and take two or three printouts for PET and Document Verification.
- If your name/roll number appears in the qualified list, note the PET venue intimation: RRBs/RRCs issue separate PET admit cards and venue details on the same website.
- For PET results, revisit the Results/PET link of your RRC website (for example, RRC NCR published its Level-1 PET result on 27 July 2026). Each zone publishes its own list, so declaration dates differ across railways.
- If the scorecard window is not yet live for your board, keep checking daily; all RRBs declare within a few days of each other.

RRB Group D CBT Cut Off & Score Normalisation Explained
With more than one crore candidates appearing in multiple shifts between December 2025 and February 2026, the RRBs applied a transparent normalisation methodology to the Group D CBT. Since question papers of different shifts can differ in difficulty, raw scores are adjusted using a percentile-based equalisation approach published by the boards. The normalised score — not the raw score — is used for merit and cut-off preparation, ensuring that candidates of equal ability are treated fairly regardless of the shift allotted to them.
Cut-offs are then prepared category-wise (UR, OBC, EWS, SC, ST), keeping in view the total vacancies (32,438), the number of applicants examined and shift-wise difficulty. The notification prescribes minimum qualifying percentage standards for each category. Only candidates above the category cut-off qualify for PET/PST. Note that PET/PST is qualifying in nature (no marks are added), and the final merit is based purely on normalised CBT marks of candidates who pass PET/PST, Document Verification and medical examination.
Selection Process & Next Stage: PET, PST, DV and Medical
- CBT: single Computer Based Test of 100 questions (Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science and General Awareness & Current Affairs) in 90 minutes; result declared.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): male candidates generally lift and carry 35 kg over 100 metres in 2 minutes, and run 1000 metres in 4 minutes 15 seconds; female candidates generally lift and carry 20 kg over 100 metres in 2 minutes and run 1000 metres in 5 minutes 40 seconds (exact standards as per notification; one attempt).
- Physical Standard Test (PST): height, chest (for males) and weight measurements as per the prescribed standards; relaxation applies to certain categories as per rules.
- Document Verification: originals of educational certificates (10th pass / ITI / NAC as applicable), category certificate, EWS certificate, domicile and photographs verified against the application.
- Medical Examination: candidates who clear DV undergo medical fitness assessment as per railway standards applicable to the post; vision standards vary by category.
- Final Merit & Appointment: merit is prepared zone-wise and post-wise from CBT marks of medically fit candidates; appointment/induction follows railway zone schedules.

1. Where do I download my RRB Group D scorecard?
The scorecard is hosted on the official website of the RRB/RRC where you applied. Click the CEN 08/2025 Group D scorecard link and log in with your registration number and date of birth/password. If only a qualified roll-number PDF is published, search your roll number in that list; individual scorecards become available in the scorecard window that follows.
2. My roll number is not in the qualified list. What should I do?
First, make sure you are checking the list published by your own RRB — every RRB/RRC releases its own PDF. Revised or supplementary lists are sometimes issued later, so continue visiting the Results section. If you believe there is an error, submit a representation through your RRB’s official grievance channel within the stipulated period, keeping your admit card and scorecard ready.
3. Which portal should I log into — rrbapply.gov.in or my RRB website?
Use rrbapply.gov.in for application-related status of the central RRB application process. For Group D result PDFs, scorecards and PET/PST notices, use the official website of your allotted RRB/RRC (e.g. rrbmumbai.gov.in for RRB Mumbai candidates). Each RRB maintains its own results section.
4. When will the PET/PST and Document Verification dates be announced?
PET/PST has been running from June–July 2026 onwards, zone by zone; for example, RRC NCR declared its Level-1 PET result on 27 July 2026. DV follows PET qualification and is intimated RRC-wise with individual call letters. Keep tracking your RRC website and registered mobile/email for your own dates, as they differ across zones.
5. When is the RRB Group D final merit list expected?
The final merit list is prepared after PET/PST, DV and medical examination in each zone. Given the scale of the drive (32,438 posts), final panels are expected during late 2026, zone-wise, and will be published on the respective RRB/RRC websites.
