Navy SSR/INRT Result 2025
Indian Navy Senior Secondary Recruit & Sailors Recruitment 2025
Conducted by: Indian Navy
Indian Navy SSR / INET Result 2026 — Navik (SSR), MR & Officer Entry
The Indian Navy recruits sailors and officers on an all-India basis. Sailor entry runs through the Agniveer batches — SSR (Senior Secondary Recruit) for 12th-pass candidates and MR (Matric Recruit) for 10th-pass candidates — while officer entry for certain technical / short-service branches uses the INET (Indian Navy Entrance Test) written examination. The batch-wise written / shortlisting result for both streams is released by the Indian Navy on the official recruitment portal joinindiannavy.gov.in; every candidate must check the result inside his own Application Login created at the time of registration, because the Navy does not display public roll-number PDFs. Qualified candidates then proceed to the Physical Fitness Test, Physical Standards / document verification and Medical Examination. This page explains the current result situation, how to check it in the login, and what happens next — with only official links.

Selection Process in Brief
- Computer-Based Test (CBT) — objective test for SSR/MR officer entries; INET paper for applicable officer branches. Two-hour exam with sections as per the notification.
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT) — organised by zone-wise centres.
- Document Verification & Physical Measurement — original verification of date of birth, education certificates, category and domicile documents.
- Medical Examination — at the notified Medical Centres; only medically fit candidates proceed.
- Final merit / PSL — based on all qualifying stages; induction at INS Chilka takes place per the call-up.
Written Exam Pattern — SSR / MR CBT
| Particular | SSR / MR CBT |
|---|---|
| Subjects | English, Science (Physics & Chemistry), Mathematics and General Awareness |
| Duration | 60 minutes |
| Level | 10+2 level (SSR); 10th level (MR) |
| Negative marking | As per the notification for the batch |
| Mode | Computer Based Test (CBT) at allotted exam centres |
Candidates should practise the Mathematics sections (arithmetic, algebra, trigonometry basics), basic Physics and Chemistry from NCERT 12th books, and daily current affairs to maximise the score. The CBT screening ratio is high — only the top-scoring applicants by merit are called forward.

- Document verification: original 12th/10th marksheet, photo ID, domicile and category certificates — carry one set of photocopies too.
- Medical unfit cases can appeal at notified Army/Navy medical centres within the given window if the notification allows a review.
FAQ
Q: Where can I check my SSR shortlist or INET result?
A: In your login on the official portal www.joinindiannavy.gov.in. All results for these entries are login-only; no public PDF is released.
Q: Who needs the INET test — all batches or some officer entries?
A: INET applies to notified officer entries only. Agniveer SSR/MR use the standard Navy CBT.
Q: What if I cannot make it to the notified exam or PFT slot?
A: Slots are fixed batch-wise; arrive on time with a valid photo document. The Navy does not promise automatic re-slots, but rescheduling options — if any — are only notified in your login.
Q: Is there a waiting list after the final merit / PSL?
A: The final list follows the sanctioned vacancy pattern by merit. Keep checking your login; supplementary notice, if any, comes through the same portal.
Q: Who answers discrepancies in my result status?
A: Use the contact/Help section of the official portal. Individual status scrutiny cannot be done by unofficial websites or social ads.
Q: Can I apply for more than one Navy entry at the same time?
A: Multiple windows can exist concurrently, but each batch needs a separate login and call letter.
